Ingredients
- 700g floury potatoes, cooked and riced
- 150g plain flour
- 1 egg
- 40g butter, softened
- pinch salt
- 80g ground poppy seeds
- 60g icing sugar
- 60g butter, melted
Method
- Mix warm riced potatoes with flour, egg, softened butter, and salt to form a soft dough.
- Roll dough into finger-thick ropes and cut into short noodles.
- Gently roll each piece into tapered potato noodles.
- Simmer in salted water until they float, about 3-4 minutes. Drain carefully.
- Toss in melted butter, then coat generously with ground poppy seeds and icing sugar.
- Serve warm with extra sugar on the side.
