Selchfleisch mit Erdäpfeln
Smoked pork ribs or shoulder with boiled potatoes and braised white cabbage — a hearty weeknight staple.
Ingredients
- 1kg smoked pork ribs or shoulder
- 800g waxy potatoes
- half white cabbage, shredded
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
Method
- Simmer the smoked pork in water for 45 minutes until tender.
- Boil potatoes in salted water separately.
- Braise cabbage with caraway seeds, a knob of butter, and a splash of water for 15 minutes.
- Serve pork with potatoes and cabbage. Add mustard on the side.
