Austrian meatloaf — seasoned minced beef and pork with egg, soaked bread, and marjoram, wrapped in bacon.

Ingredients
- 500g minced beef
- 250g minced pork
- 2 eggs
- 2 bread rolls, soaked in milk and squeezed
- 1 onion, grated
- 2 tsp dried marjoram
- 6 strips bacon, to wrap
Method
- Mix all ingredients except bacon together thoroughly. Season generously.
- Shape into a loaf and wrap in bacon strips. Place in a roasting tin.
- Roast at 180C for 60 minutes, basting with pan juices every 20 minutes.
- Rest 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with roast potatoes and braised cabbage.
